Lisa Evans

I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Certified EFT Practitioner, based in the Granite Belt District of Queensland. I work with people, both online and in person, using Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and a variety of focused psychological strategies. I am a registered provider with Medicare Australia and have a special interest in working with people who suffer from anxiety. Witnessing my clients achieve astounding results using Clinical EFT to reduce the impact of anxiety on their everyday lives, has amplified my passion for working in the mental health field.

ABOUT ME....

After ten years of working as a Clinical Hospital Social Worker, I began to feel the effects of workplace stress, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma. At this time, I was completing further study in mental health and working towards gaining my mental health accreditation with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Through my studies, I came across the work of Dr Peta Stapleton and her world leading research trials on Clinical EFT. After experiencing immediate relief from my own workplace stress using this modality, I began to realise the potential it held for my clients. I started following the work of world renowned leaders in EFT, attending workshops held by EFT Universe and Evidence Based EFT, before settling on pursuing my formal EFT certification under the mentorship of Alina Frank at the EFT Tapping Training Institute.

I now run a private practice, combining my experience as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with Clinical EFT, to provide holistic and person-centred mental health care to both children and adults. My practice is based in the beautiful town of Stanthorpe, allowing me to offer face-to-face services to residents of the Granite Belt, and online services to people around the world.
