MEDICARE AND OTHER SCHEMES

A Standard Appointment time is 50 minutes.

​

Standard Appointment Fee = $170 AUD

​

You can access a Medicare Rebate of $85.20 if you have a Mental Health Care Plan, and are referred by your GP, Psychiatrist, or Paediatrician.

 

Please ensure that you have your bank account details registered with Medicare to have the rebate deposited into your nominated bank account. Please note the rebate subsidises approximately half the cost of an appointment, leaving a gap fee of $84.80 per appointment.

Granite Belt Connect can also accept referrals under the Department of Veterans' Affairs, and WorkCover QLD. There is no gap fee under these two schemes.

​

A referral is not needed to access Granite Belt Connect. However, to access the Medicare rebate, a GP referral (under a Mental Health Care Plan) is required.
